Life Long Learning Fund
Sponsored by RMH Administration

Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation (RMHF) and RMH Administration recognize the importance of continuous learning to the success of both individual workers and to healthcare as a whole. The funding is open to all regular employees who have completed 18 months of service on a full-time basis or the equivalent number of hours (3760 hours) on a part-time or casual basis within the publicly funded health care facilities in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows (e.g. Ridge Meadows Hospital (RMH), Baillie House, McKenney Creek Hospice, Home Health, Public Health, Community Mental Health, Maple Ridge Treatment Centre, etc.)

Health Education Endowment Fund

The Health Education Endowment Fund is used to support the professional  development of members who make up the multi-disciplinary health care teams who work at Ridge Meadows Hospital or Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Health Services. The endowment fund was established through a generous gift from the Queen of the Valley Loyal Orange Lodge No. 3113, a fraternal organization in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.

RMHF Service Impact Grants (Formerly Staff Appreciation Grants) and RMHF Major Impact Grants (Formerly Major Grants)

In 2000, the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation made Staff Appreciation Grants (now Service Impact Grants) available to departments in Ridge Meadows Hospital and other health care services operated by the Health Authorities in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Health Services. In 2004, Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation initiated the RMHF Major Grant (now Major Impact Grants)

  • RMHF is interested in funding projects or resources that enhance or have a positive impact on patient care and innovative ideas that can help frontline staff do their jobs better or make their work more effective. For the Major Impact Grants, high priority will be given to a project that can provide innovative solutions for health and social problems in our community as well as enhance the function of the department or service.
