IODE Provincial Chapter of BC generously supports McKenney Creek Hospice

September 28: The IODE Provincial Chapter of BC has generously donated $4,800 to McKenney Creek Hospice for the purchase of a Vital Signs Monitor. The monitor allows for blood pressure, oxygen level, temperature and pulse monitoring. The machine features a printer which allows the care providers to print out the results for easy entry into patient records.

IODE Canada was formed in 1900 and was incorporated as a Canadian women’s organization by a special act of Parliament in 1917. Today, the organization focuses on children, families and individuals through education, community service, and citizenship programs.
