Ridge Meadows Hospital, at the time named Maple Ridge Hospital, opened in 1958. Back then, it was only two floors and had 63 beds and 67 employees.

Today, it is one of 12 acute care hospitals in Fraser Health. As it stands, it has 125 acute care beds, as well as 10 hospice beds and 148 residential care beds. For more information about Ridge Meadows Hospital, please visit Fraser Health.
