Ridge Meadows Quilters’ Guild donates quilt to first baby of the new year.

January 9, 2023: Ridge Meadows Quilters’ Guild donates quilt to first baby born of the new year.

The Foundation was thrilled to accept this gorgeous quilt made by Tracy Hill of the Ridge Meadows Quilters’ Guild, to present to the first baby of 2023.
Nolan Bradley Isherwood was the first baby to be born in 2023 at Ridge Meadows Hospital. New parents Beverley and Nathan Isherwood welcomed their bundle of joy to the world at exactly 8:04 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 2, weighing 7 pounds and 4.5 ounces.

Parents, Nathan and Beverley found out that Nolan was the first baby of the year at Ridge Meadows Hospital when they went back to the resting room and received a beautiful handmade quilt from the Ridge Meadows Quilters’ Guild congratulating them.

The Ridge Meadows Quilters’ Guild is looking forward to making this a new annual tradition. For more information on the quilters’ guild visit: https://rmqg.ca/
