The Life Long Learning Fund is sponsored by Ridge Meadows Hospital Administration.
Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation and RMH Administration recognize the importance of continuous learning to the success of individual workers, our community, and healthcare as a whole. Successful recipients of the LLL Fund can receive up to $500 for professional development, higher education, and more.
Who can apply?
All regular employees who have completed 18 months of service on a full-time basis or the equivalent number of hours (3,760 hours) on a part-time or casual basis within the publicly funded health care facilities in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows (e.g. Ridge Meadows Hospital (RMH), Baillie House, McKenney Creek Hospice, Home Health, Public Health, Community Mental Health, Maple Ridge Treatment Centre, etc.) and expect to continue to work at RMH MRPM Health Services for at least 18 months.

The Health Education Endowment Fund is sponsored by the Queen of the Valley Loyal Orange Lodge No. 3113.
The Queen of the Valley Loyal Orange Lodge No. 3113 is a fraternal organization dedicated to the ongoing support of the people of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. The intent of this fund is to support the professional development of the members who make up the multi-disciplinary health care teams who work at Ridge Meadows Hospital Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Health Services.
Who can apply?
Those who have worked a minimum of 100 hours at RMH MRPM Health Services, and expect to continue to work at RMH MRPM Health Services for at least a period of 18 to 24 months and are staff that directly serve patients/clients, i.e.,
- Registered Nurses
- Licensed Practical Nurses
- Registered Psychiatric Nurses
- Dieticians
- Pharmacists
- Social Workers
- Occupational Therapists
- Recreational Therapists
- Respiratory Therapists
- Educators
- Physicians with under five years as a practicing physician
- Interns, residents with privileges at Ridge Meadows Hospital
- Other clinical staff directly serving patients at RMH MRPM Health Services

GRANT ELIGIBILITY: Departments within Ridge Meadows Hospital, Baillie House, McKenney Creek Hospice, Mental Health & Addictions, Maple Ridge Treatment Centre, Public Health, Home Health and Ridge Meadows Wellness Center in the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Health
Services area.
At the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation we take pride in supporting the innovative ideas brought forward from the front line staff themselves. Our RMHF Impact Grants offer staff and physicians the opportunity to apply for grants up to a maximum of $2500 to departments for projects or resources that enhance or have a positive impact on patient care and innovative ideas that can help frontline staff do their jobs better or make their work more effective. High priority is given to a project that can provide innovative solutions for health and social problems in our community, as well as enhance the function of the department or service.
Applications are accepted between the first Monday of October to the last Monday of November.
