At the 2022 Fund Run, we celebrated our dear friend Anne Littlewood—one of the original organizers and participant in every single Fund Run since its 2004 inception.

Anne had a passion for running. She had a tattoo that said, “Live, Love, Run” as well as a tattoo of her Boston Marathon qualifying time “BQ 3:55:59.” Participants wore temporary tattoos at the Fund Run to honor her legacy and spirit. Some of Anne’s close friends and running mates organized a team named Annie’s Army (pictured above). Over 60 people were on the team, running in Anne’s memory.

She left us far too soon, but she has left a beautiful legacy of running for health care in our community.
