19th Annual Fund Run Raises Over $34,000
June 13, 2022: On Sunday, June 5, we welcomed back the community after two years of virtual events. The 19th annual Fund Run raised over $34,000 and included 280 participants. The rain held off for the most part—just a few sprinkles, but it was a tough crowd!
At this year’s Fund Run, we celebrated our dear friend Anne Littlewood, one of the original organizers and participant in every single Fund Run since its 2004 inception.
Anne had a passion for running. She had a tattoo that said, “Live, Love, Run,” as well as a tattoo of her Boston Marathon qualifying time, “BQ 3:55:59.” Participants wore temporary tattoos at the Fund Run to honor her legacy and spirit. Some of Anne’s close friends and running mates organized a team named Annie’s Army (pictured above). Over 60 people were on the team, running in Anne’s memory.
She was a steadfast supporter of RMH Foundation and took great pride in the success of the Fund Run through the years. She will forever be remembered for her kindness and radiating energy. Although Anne left us far too soon, she has left a beautiful legacy of running for health care in our community.
We are proud to announce that over the past 19 years a total of over $560,000 has been raised by this event, helping to fund quality health care equipment, high priority needs, and special projects at Ridge Meadows Hospital and in our community.
