Kiwanis Continues Support of Hug-A-Bear Program

February 1, 2022: Kiwanis Club of Golden Ears presents a cheque for $2,500 to Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation to continue their partnership for the HUG-A-BEAR Program.

These little Kiwanis Bears are given to our youngest patients to bring comfort, build trust and rapport with the health care providers, and even sometimes used to demonstrate what will happen to them during their hospital visit.

This initiative fulfills an important need in many of our departments in the hospital and community.
