Tomatoes Tried to Kill Me But Banjos Saved My Life.

January 27, 2023: Special Co-Fundraiser raises money for two vital community organizations.

We had the privilege of hosting a very special co-fundraiser with the The ACT Arts Centre on Friday January 27th.
Well over 350 guests attended a pre-show reception with wonderful eats provided by local caterer Humble Roots Cafe & Deli. This was followed by laughter, tears and plenty of toe-tapping music as playwright and celebrated Fringe performer Keith performed “Tomatoes Tried To Kill Me But Banjos Saved My Life”, a moving show in support of the healing power of the arts. Keith shared the stage with 3x Juno award and 7 time Canadian Folk Music Award winners, Pharis & Jason Romero. He was also joined by the talented John Reischman, on mandolin and Patrick Metzger, on bass.
Thank you to all those that purchased tickets and came out to support two vital community organizations. Special thank you to Scott White of Shinobi Creative Productions who took some great photos of this incredible experience.
