Haney Builders Supplies Walks the World in Support of Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation
August 22, 2022: From April 24th to June 5, 2022, Haney Builders Supplies held their second annual Haney Builders Fitness Challenge in support of the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation. The challenge was broken into two parts: the group challenge where 150 participants from throughout the community came together to collectively walk the distance of the earth’s equator in 45 days (8000 steps per person per day!) and the team challenge. In the teams challenge, teams of ten competed against each other on weekly challenges and points were awarded to each team based on their ranking for the week. Pollard Chiropractic’s “The Walkaholics” once again walked away with their second win.
The challenge raised $10,000 which will help fund essential equipment and other high-priority health care needs at Ridge Meadows Hospital and Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Health Services.
